Prof. Kimon Fountoulakis

Prof. Kimon Fountoulakis is an Associate Professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science and a member of the Science Computation Group. Previously, Kimon was a postdoctoral fellow and Principal Investigator at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Department of Statistics as well as ICSI, where he worked with Michael Mahoney. Before that, he completed a PhD in optimization at the University of Edinburgh under the supervision of Professor Jacek Gondzio. Kimon works on machine learning on graphs, which involves making predictions using multi-modal datasets that combine features and relational information among entities.
